Video: Tough break
Southern Mississippi's 6-foot-6 freshman receiver DeAndre Brown, easily one of the best recruits in school history (don't forget Brett Favre is a USM grad), had an outstanding 2008. Hopefully his future with the Golden Eagles isn't diminished after suffering a compound fracture during Sunday night's R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.
