So long Toledo Tom

Tom Amstutz is an institution at Toledo. He led the Rockets to four bowl appearances and is well respected among his coaching peers.

There are published reports that Amstutz is stepping down as coach of the Rockets on Monday morning, and that he will reassigned within the athletic department. Toledo has struggled this season, and despite a big win over Michigan, is just 2-6.

The time may be right for this, but Amstutz should be remembered for the amazing job he did as head coach, as well as his long tenure with the Rockets.
