Playoff? Not with TV ratings like this

It seems any "fan" of college football is clamoring for a playoff following the BCS Championship game. Here is more proof that the bowl system is very popular (and that Phil and I are right). Thanks to Jon Solomon at the Birmingham (Ala.) News for the ratings.

and here's why Ohio State goes to the BCS above Boise - Ohioans love their TV sets. People in Boise are probably out skiing or shooting animals or something.

Looks like the entire Big Ten likes to sit in front of the TV all December.
